2019 SUMMIT

The 2019 Washington State Mental Health (WSMH) Summit is set to take place on October 29, 2019 at the HUB, University of Washington, Seattle campus. Registration will open in August.
PROPOSALS
The Washington State Mental Health Summit Advisory Council is currently accepting proposals for new initiatives to be considered for presentation at the 2019 Summit. Applicants of accepted proposals will be expected to participate in building advance workgroups and perform preliminary work ahead of their Summit presentation on October 29. Project management support from the WSMH Summit may be available toward those efforts. Any mental or behavioral health stakeholder in Washington State is eligible to apply.
CRITERIA

Summit initiatives should be new or scalable ideas that will make a sizable difference and impact in the current mental health system upon implementation.

Summit initiatives should have a pre-developed and actionable plan for implementation, preferably within 12 months.

You will be asked to identify the following: potential initiative leadership, key stakeholders, partners, sponsors; a timeline with benchmarks; potential barriers to success, and ways to address and overcome these barriers
Please fill out the Initiative Application (fillable pdf) to outline your initiative and identify strategies for implementation. Proposals are due Friday, April 19, 2019 at 5 PM and should be emailed to info@wamhsummit.org. Applicants will be notified of the Advisory Council's decision by May 16, 2019. See our 2018 initiatives
