The 2023 Washington State Mental Health (WSMH) Summit is set to take place on November 2nd, 2023 at the HUB Grand Ballroom, University of Washington, Seattle campus. In-person registration is highly recommended.

PLACE: Husky Union Building (HUB), University of Washington, Seattle (will include both in-person and streaming options for attendees.)

The New Initiatives

The Washington State Mental Health Summit Advisory Council accepted proposals for new initiatives to be considered for presentation at the 2023 Summit. A new slate of six initiatives has been chosen by the Advisory Council for Summit presentation on November 2nd.

  • The Family & Caregiver Academy 

  • Transforming Dementia Care through Increasing Access to Trained Nurse Specialists

  • Workforce for Student Well-being: Conditional Scholarships, Training, and Building Networks to Develop the Field of School Mental Health

  • The Pro Bono Counseling Project

  • Mental and Somatic Health Services for Veterans

  • Preparing Co-Responding MHPs to work with Law Enforcement in Crisis Response
